Responsibilities

You will:

  • Provide ongoing holistic financial planning advice to our existing clients by ensuring all reviews take place within the required timescales and that subsequent advice remains suitable for the client’s financial aims and objectives
  • Ensure all written advice is provided within service requirements and to maintain client service standards
  • Adopt and follow the advice processes to realise efficiencies of work whilst maintaining the high-quality advice given to the client
  • Produce and manage a Business Plan detailing personal targets for generating new business and servicing existing clients with ongoing advice
  • Develop new business relationships with professional connections to generate referrals
  • Demonstrate highly tuned technical knowledge during a client meeting and through the advice given
  • Identify new business opportunities through an understanding of life-style planning, market knowledge and comprehensive fact finds
  • Effectively manage your diary and ensure all activity is productive and works toward the achievement of targets and Business Plan
  • Maintain your Certification status and appropriate CPD requirements
  • Uphold the FCAs Conduct Rules and maintain your Fit & Proper standing
  • Act with honesty and integrity in all dealings with clients and peers alike

Experience

You will have:

  • At least 5-years’ experience of advising clients across a range of financial planning areas
  • Experience of providing holistic, whole of market financial advice to clients
  • A proven track record of being able to service existing clients and be proactive in developing new business and professional connections
  • Knowledge of developments in financial services
  • Experience of working alongside a professional practice would be an advantage

  • An exceptional adviser who holds the SPS and Certification status under the Certification Regime
  • A persuasive influencer with the natural capacity to engage with your audience
  • An excellent communicator – both written and verbal – and able to convey complex technical matters in an easy to understand way
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft products – in particular Microsoft Word
  • Able to manage your own time and meet tight deadlines
  • A strong team player with the ability to lead by example
  • Dedicated to continuing to develop your existing skills and technical knowledge

Qualifications

  • Minimum QCF Level 4 qualified/CII Diploma
  • Chartered status desirable
  • Statement of Professional Standing with an accredited professional body
  • Record of Fit & Proper status
  • Hold a Certification under the FCAs Certification Regime
