Frank Williamson – Managing Director

Frank joined Pannells in 1988. In addition to managing the business on a national basis he provides advice to professional firms, companies and high net worth individuals on their financial planning needs.

He has responsibility for all aspects of running the company including; strategy, budgeting, risk management and maintaining standards in terms of the quality of advice and service to clients.

His work with corporate clients includes advice on profit extraction, exit planning and employee benefits. Individual clients are often owner managers or professional partners and Frank’s advice centres around their investment and retirement planning needs, including tax efficient risk graded portfolios to meet their requirements.

Frank is a graduate in Business Administration, a Diploma Qualified Financial Adviser and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Adrian Davison – Commercial Director

Adrian joined Pannells as Director of Finance after working in Business Advisory and Corporate Finance roles within Coopers & Lybrand and Pannell Kerr Forster.  Adrian became Finance Director and Company Secretary then undertook the wider role of Commercial Director and is both a member of the Company’s Senior Management Team and a Board Member.

Adrian is a Chartered Accountant by training having joined Deloitte, Haskins & Sells after graduating in Economics from Manchester University.

Vince Smith – Regional Director – Central

Vince joined Pannells in 1989. He has worked in the financial planning industry for over 40 years, initially training with one of the UK’s leading pension and investment providers. He has extensive knowledge in all areas of financial planning ranging from advising individual clients on their retirement benefits or investments, to helping companies to implement and establish various types of pension schemes for the directors or their employees.

Vince holds the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Diploma in Financial Planning as well as the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate on pensions.

Joanne Crewe – Regional Director – Home Counties

Joanne joined Pannells in 2002 as a Senior Consultant. She has been a Financial Adviser for 21 years and prior to this was a Pensioneer Trustee dealing with Small Self-Administered Schemes.

She has extensive knowledge and experience in providing advice to clients. Her clients think highly of her, which is evidenced by the long-standing relationships she has developed which now extend across the generations.   As well as advising individuals she also advises owner managed businesses, providing advice on succession planning, profit extraction and exit strategies.

Joanne is a Diploma qualified Financial Adviser and holds the G60 pension transfer qualification.

Paul Gooch – Regional Director – East Anglia

Paul joined Pannells in 2004.   He has helped to grow our East Anglian advisory business, building profitable, long term relationships with both clients and professional connections. He has instilled a “can do” culture into his team and is passionate about delivering the highest quality of advice, efficiently, to our clients.

He provides advice to a broad range of clients, including individuals and owner managed businesses, covering areas such as protection, savings and investments, retirement and inheritance tax planning, profit extraction and exit strategies.

Paul is a Diploma qualified Financial Adviser and a member of both the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Steve Johnstone – Regional Director – Scotland and North

Steve joined Pannells in 2011, having spent 33 years working for one of the major providers.   He has over 40 years financial planning industry experience and enjoys helping individual and corporate clients create tailored plans for investment, retirement and inter-generational tax planning.

Steve is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner – he is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and holds the G60 pension qualification.

Tim Parker – Head of Employee Benefits

Tim joined Pannells in 2017. He is an employee benefits specialist who helps employers design, implement and maintain excellent employee benefits solutions.  He runs a successful team advising 180 employers throughout the UK and likes working with people who are positive, forward thinking and go that extra mile to get the job done. He believes people make a great business which is one of the main reasons he enjoys working at Pannells.

Tim holds numerous professional qualifications and is a Chartered Insurer, Chartered Financial Planner as well as being a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS). He feels strongly that examinations help personal development and drive up standards. Tim is a scrutineer for the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Sue Adcock – Regional Administration Manager

Sue joined Pannells in 2008 as a Regional Administration Manager with responsibility for managing and developing the administration team across 3 regions.  She has a vast array of experience, having been in the Financial Services industry for over 30 years and started her career working for a well-known provider.

Sue now has full responsibility for the administration support function at Pannells which includes the strategy for the support structure functionality, recruitment, training and development of the team and ensuring Pannells’ clients have a positive experience whilst dealing with the company.

Denise Lawrence – Technical Services Manager

Denise joined Pannells in 2010, starting in the Risk Management Team and progressing to manage the Technical Specialists within the Risk Management Team.   She has worked in financial services for over 30 years, all within Independent Financial Advisory firms.

Denise is a Pension Transfer Specialist and a Member of The Personal Finance Society (PFS).   She is Diploma qualified and progressing towards Chartered status.
